Read Solana token risk scores and safety signals

Read Solana token risk scores, mint and freeze authority, liquidity flags, and holder concentration. Build filters from the Data API risk response.

The token response includes a risk object with a score and individual risk factors. Read the factors alongside liquidity and holder data; a score is a screening signal, not a guarantee about a token.

Get the risk score

The risk score is included in the standard token info response under risk. Higher score means higher risk. The final score uses a 1–10 range, even though individual risk factors use larger internal weights.

Key risk factors

Freeze authority

An active freeze authority can freeze token accounts. Check who controls that authority before presenting the token as unrestricted.

Mint authority

An active mint authority can issue additional supply. Show the authority status alongside supply and holder data.

LP burned vs removable

Removable liquidity can change a pool’s ability to fill swaps. Read the LP status alongside current pool liquidity.

Bundler activity

Bundler fields identify wallets associated with bundled launch activity. totalBundlerPercentage measures their share of supply; choose a display threshold based on your application.

Insider concentration

Insider fields describe wallets identified by the API’s insider signals. Review their holdings and changes alongside developer and first-buyer data.

Rugged status

Read risk.rugged as a separate flag in the risk response. Show the flag together with the reported risk factors and current pool state.

Build a risk screener

This example excludes tokens with a danger-level factor. Adjust the filter to the fields your app needs to display:

Risk score reference

Score range	Risk level	What it means
1–3	Low	Lower reported score; inspect the individual factors
4–6	Medium	Some warnings, review manually
7–8	High	One or more danger factors — proceed with caution
9–10	Critical	Higher reported score; inspect the factors and rugged flag
